Our Story

Hello! I am Patricia Hamer, Founder and CEO of "Marriage Rocks! Let's Stay Together™."

Rodney and I have been happily married for over 10 years! Together we have seven children, 20 (and counting) grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. However, my marriage story began with my first husband with whom I was married to almost 32 years before his transition to Heaven.

 

Together we Pastor the Abiding Faith Christian Center in Flint MI. I have had a passion for Marriages and families since I was a young girl. I did not see an example of a strong Godly marriage but I certainly believe that God planted this in my heart at an early age.

 

This passion from God turned into a Ministry. I started in my home teaching just a few ladies about God's expectations of a wife and discussing the blessings and the challenges.

 

After several years, with many challenges in between and opportunities to grow in my own marriage, "Marriage Rocks! Let's Stay Together™" Facebook Community was birthed. When I pushed that button to begin on Facebook Live I was anxious and excited. My passion was coming alive.

It was definitely a step of faith to branch out and begin. I must also say that I had others that helped me along this journey. My husband and my family have been very supportive. I couldn't do this without all those who assisted me on this journey.
